What is an Energy Performance Certificate?

Energy Performance Certificates provide ratings that compare your current energy efficiency and estimated costs of the energy used, with potential figures that your property could achieve.

The ratings are measured using a grade of 'A' to 'G' with A being the most efficient.
All homes are measured using the same calculations, so you can compare the efficiency of different properties – it could make your property more attractive if
you want to sell or rent. The average efficiency grade to date is 'D'.
